Research Associate and PhD Candidate

Short Introduction/Resume

Mr Tobias Biehle has been working as a research assistant at the department since the beginning of 2019. His research interests lie in the field of sustainable mobility and rural /urban development, with a focus on participation methods.

As part of his PhD project, Mr Biehle has been investigating the socio-ecological potential of drones as potential new modes of transport in urban airspace since 2021.

Mr Biehle completed his studies in Sociology (B.A.) at the University of Bremen and the Master's programme in Planning and Participation (M.Sc.) at the University of Stuttgart. He previously worked as a research assistant at the communication agency DIALOG BASIS and at the Centre for Innovation and Risk Analysis (ZIRIUS).
