Rozaliia Tarnovetckaia is a scientific Assistant at TU Berlin. She started her PhD dissertation in 2023 with the working title "The rebound effect of shared-mobility: understanding of urban planning perspective towards sustainability" under the supervision of Pr.Dr.Hans-Luidger Dienel, as a logical prolongation of her master thesis.
Her academic interest focuses on the impact of emerging on-demand mobility services and sharing mobility on sustainability, especially in Post-socialist cities. Besides, she worked as a student assistant in ArTe from 2019 until 2021.
Rozaliia has an MBA in Sustainable mobility management from TU Berlin(2021), a Master of Urban planning and Spatial Development degree from the HSE Moscow (2014) and a Bachelor of Land Management from Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (2011).
Before coming to Berlin for study, Rozaliia worked as a Senior Consulter in KB Strelka for five years in Moscow; before this, she participated in research "Archaeology of the Periphery" for the Moscow government and worked as a cadastral engineer in Russian companies. She has work experience in urban studies, master planning, policy-making for Urban development, development of educational infrastructure, and the programming of public talks and forums.
