Resume
Manuela Weber graduated with a M. A. (Magister) in science of education as major subject and sociology and philosophy as minor subjects at the Technische Universität Berlin. Besides her studies she worked as research assistent in a wide range of educational, social and psychological research fields (school and teaching, public health, pedagogy in early childhood). Her major skills are quantitative data collection and data analysis with social-science methods in interdisciplinary research.
Fields of interest
- quantitative data collection and data analysis with social-science methods in interdisciplinary research;
- data collection: constructing web-based and paper-pencil surveys (defining content, wording, structure, scaling)
- statistical data analysis: testing hypotheses with parametric or non-parametric procedueres using SPSS
- teacher education in work studies
- empirical research in education: classroom management and its value for a positive student teacher relationship; teacher burnout.
