Kurzbiografie
Robin Kellermann hat ein Bachelorstudium (B.A.) in Kulturwissenschaften an der Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg sowie ein Masterstudium (M.A.) in Historischer Urbanistik an der Technischen Universität Berlin abgeschlossen. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen in historischen und gegenwartsbezogenen Analysen zum Verkehrswesen unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Wahrnehmungs- und Nutzungsveränderungen sowie soziotechnischer Ko-Evolutionen.
Seine Doktorarbeit widmet sich der „Kulturgeschichte des Wartens“ am Beispiel des öffentlichen Verkehrs seit Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts (eingereicht im Juni 2020, Verteidigung am 30.09.2020).
Seit Ende 2012 ist er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Fachgebiet Arbeitslehre/Technik und Partizipation an der TU Berlin und ist neben seiner Lehrtätigkeit (Mobilität und Digitalisierung) aktuell Projektleiter eines explorativen Forschungsprojekts zur zukünftigen Erschließung und Gestaltung des städtischen Luftraums durch Drohnen und Copter (Sky Limits).
Er ist gewähltes Vorstandsmitglied der International Association for the History of Transport, Traffic and Mobility (T2M) sowie Book Review Editor des Journal for Transport History (JTH).
Seit Mai 2015 ist er zudem DFG Associate Fellow im Internationalen Graduiertenprogramm Berlin – New York – Toronto” (The World in the City: Metropolitanism and Globalization from the 19th Century to the Present) am Center for Metropolitan Studies der TU Berlin.
