TUB-Teaching: Online Study-choice Assistance system (OSA)
In the TUB-Teaching subproject OSA, an Online Study-choice Assistance system (OSA) is being developed, which should provide information about the study programs "Vocational training" and "Work Studies" and encourage self-reflection regarding professional competences. The focus here is on providing information for prospective students who are looking for access to a degree in teacher education at the TUB via a cross-entry (Q-Master). The aim is to convey in-depth, interactive information about how it is to study and become a teacher at TUB, combined with a stimulation of the self-exploration of interests and competences, to address more and appropriate prospective students. The OSA comprises a web-based presentation of Q-Master students' relevant information on transition, study conditions and career prospects. In in-depth, videographed case studies and tutorials, students, lecturers and practitioners present occupational biographical as well as study and job-relevant framework conditions in order to stimulate decision-making exploration.
