| Event | “Long Night of the Sciences 2014” (Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften 2014) On May 10, 2014 the “Long Night of the Sciences 2014” (Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften 2014) will be opened by TU Berlin. From 5 p.m. until midnight about 240 program items will take place. The “Haus der Bildung” (House of Education), Marchstr. 23, of TU Berlin will also participate with various projects. From 07.30 – 09.00 p.m. a panel discussion concerning “Wirtschaft-Arbeit-Technik (WAT) – Ein Schulfach mit Zukunft!” with Hildegard Bentele, Sigrid Egidi-Fritz, Reinhold Hoge, Prof. Dr. Angela Ittel, Anett Sahlan, Prof. Dr. Rita Süssmuth (Chairwoman of the board of trustees TU Berlin) and Doro Zinke (Head of DGB for Berlin-Brandenburg) will take place.
